At dotskinn.uk, we aim to make your shopping experience clear, reliable, and transparent. This page outlines the origin of our shipments, estimated delivery times, tracking information, and tax details for orders delivered within the United Kingdom.
1) Delivery Area
We currently deliver only within the United Kingdom (mainland). Deliveries to remote areas may require additional time. If your address is outside our delivery area, the system will inform you during checkout.
2) Shipping Origin and Logistics
Origin: China (Shenzhen). All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China, through international logistics partners. Final delivery in the UK is completed by local courier services.
All shipments are processed through reliable logistics partners to ensure tracking visibility and compliance with UK import standards.
3) Processing and Estimated Delivery Time
- Processing time: 1–2 business days after payment confirmation
- Standard shipping (China → UK): 5–8 business days (estimated)
- Total estimated delivery time: 6–10 business days
- Cost: Free standard shipping
Please note: Delivery times may be affected by customs clearance, national holidays, weather conditions, or courier delays. Estimated delivery times are provided for reference and may vary slightly based on destination and courier conditions.
4) Taxes, VAT, and Customs
All product prices on our website include UK VAT unless stated otherwise. As orders are shipped internationally from China, certain packages may be subject to customs inspection upon arrival in the UK. If any local customs duties or handling fees are applied, these may be borne by the customer according to local regulations.
When applicable, prepaid tax or customs handling (DDP service) will be clearly indicated at checkout or in your order confirmation.
5) Order Tracking
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. Tracking activation may take 24–72 hours depending on the courier system. If you created an account, you can log in to track your order; guest users can track orders using their order number and email address.
6) Change of Address
You may request an address change at no cost before your order is shipped. Once your package has been dispatched internationally, address changes may not be possible or may incur courier handling fees.
7) Order Cancellation
If your order has not yet been shipped, you can request cancellation for a full refund. Once the shipment has left our warehouse, our Refund & Returns Policy will apply.
8) Split Shipments and Pre-orders
For faster delivery, we may ship your order in multiple packages with separate tracking numbers. If an item is on pre-order, you will be informed of the estimated dispatch date and may choose to wait, replace, or request a refund for that item.
9) Undelivered or Rejected Packages
If a package cannot be delivered (incorrect address, repeated absence, or refusal), it may be returned to the sender. In such cases, we may:
- Resend the package (reshipment fees may apply), or
- Refund the product cost once returned and inspected, minus any shipping or handling costs where applicable.
